Ans: (544 + 168) = 712

Ans: (712 – 96) = 616

(3) In an examination, Rahul got 532 marks and his friend Mohit got 610 marks. How many marks did Mohit get more than Rahul?

Ans: (610 – 532) = 78

(4) In a state there are 574 primary schools, 198 secondary and 357 senior secondary schools. How many schools in all secondary in all are there in that state?

Ans: (874 + 198 + 357) = 1129

(5) In a theatre, there are 430 seats. On a particular day, 375 of the seats were occupied. How many seats remained vacant on that day?

Ans: (430 – 375) = 55 seats.
