Solution: 75 x 98= 7350.

Ans: The required distance is 7350 km.

(10) A dealer purchased 139 VCRs. If the cost of each set is RS 24350, find the cost of all the sets together.

Solution: 139 x 24350= 3384650

Ans: The required cost is 3384650 rupees.

(11) A housing society constructed 197 houses. If the cost of each house is RS 450000, what is the total cost for all the houses?

Solution: 197 x 450000= 88650000

Ans: The total cost for all hoses was 88650000 rupees.

(12) 50 chairs and 30 blackboards were purchased for a school. If each chair costs RS 1065 and each blackboard costs RS 1645, find the total amount of the bill.

Solution: (50 x 1065) + (30 x 1645)= 53250 + 49350= 102600

Ans: The required bill is 102600 rupees.

(13) There are six sections of class VI in a school and there are 45 students in each section. If the monthly charges from each student be RS 1650, find the total monthly collection from class VI.

Solution: (45 x 1650) x 6= 445500

Ans: The total monthly collection from class VI is RS 445500.

(14) The Product of two whole numbers is zero. What do you conclude?

Ans: At least one of the given numbers is zero.
